What to do about my color damaged hair?

Ok....so i had natural beautiful blonde hair....and then i decided that i thought i would look good with black hair...i dont know what the hell i was thinking....so iu dyed it black...

worst mistake of my life.....so i put tons of color stripper in my hair....and all it did was turn my hair orange.

so i went to the hair stylist and she said she didnt want to put bleach in my hair and ruin it any more....so she dyed it like red!

like 2 motnhs later i came back and she cut it all off...like to my shoulders and dyed it brown.

3 motnhs later she finally died it back to blonde....but not my natural blonde color.....

i am so afraid to die my hair to my natural color because it is sooooooo dry......

i looked into vutting it off and just getting hair extentions till my hair grows back but it is sooo expensive!!!

what to doooo?

that kinda happened to me but not that bad ...just dont mess with it alot try to keep as much heat off of it as possible get shampoos and conditioners expecially for dry hair ..get ur ends cut every 6 weeks and keep it hydrated ..expecially since its winter time ..thats when ur hair is at its dryest!

I wouldn't color it back to your natural color if the stylist made it brown....it will turn it shades of orange and yellow. esp if you use a store brand which isn't strong enough to do correctly. I would leave it the way it is, but keep getting your 4-6 week trims to get rid of it. The color it was dyed now will fade over washing/time and not look so OUT THERE with the blonde roots.

I'd wait a while until it grows back a little more and get a REALLY good deep conditioner to use like twice a week with a regular moisturizing conditioner to use everyday. Maybe on the weekend or something give your hair a break, because washing it everday can strip out the oil too, which is needed for your dry hair.

If you're desperate to make it the right color blonde, try getting lowlights or highlights [lighter or darker than the shade you have now, but still blonde.] This won't strip your hair as much as getting all of it died, because it just highlights throughout your hair, not all of it. You can even ask for your hairstylist just to do the top section of your hair [the part that shows.] Honestly though, what it comes down to is time.

Hope this helps :] Try bringin in a picture next time to your stylist so she knows the exact cut/color you want! And, the extra money is worth it to pay a stylist when you want your hair similar to the way it was before.
