Ladies, Your Thoughts? Guy's who straighten their hair?

so basicly, growing up, i've allways had a buzz cut, this past year i finaly grew it out. but didn't really do anything for it, then a few days ago i went to a hair salon

so its been clean cut and what not, and its down to my jaw-line

anyways, so i straighten it ocasionaly, lately better than usual. because one chick buddies is a hair stylist, so she gave me insight and what to do, and what to use.

basicly, its looks good (imo) oh, and its highlighted....but looks like its naturaly sun-taned with streaks

i went to a party tonight, ran into a few people that i haven't seen since high school, and they were shocked by my hair. the number one question that i got was

"so do you straighten your hair"

and being a former jock/skater, its kinda embarasing, so i just bull-****'d and said "my girlfriend likes to do it, so i just let her"

i was probaly asked that question a good 7 or 8 times

People seem shocked when guys straighten there hair but I like it and don't see the problem. I know plenty of people that run straightners through there hair for different looks and people generally get used to it and get bored asking. Afterall it's your hair and if YOU like it then do it :)
