Poney tail for the next few months??

I got my hair cut and I showed her this pic and my hair was suppost to look like this http://www.lynnechapman.com/images/longW... but it ended up looking like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/carrierox4e... See where the circle is?? Thats how it looks all around my head, a big bump!! Now what?? You can see every layer and it looks like crap!! My hair is naturally curly and thick like in the pic and I don't want to straghten it all the time or get it cut shorter!!

Everyone on here keeps saying that if I want my hair to look like the 1st link then I am going to have to curl it.... Why didn't the hair stylist tell me that?? I got my hair cut so that I could leave it down, and it ended up looking worse down then before... Now what can I do with my hair?? Am I doomed to have to keep my hair in a poney tail through the next few months well it grows back?? Any easy fast hairstyles that I can do with this frizz ball?? Thanks!!

Did the hairdresser even talk to you about the condition of your hair? It seems like they just hacked away. A good hairdresser will ask you how manageable your hair is...how long you like to spend on it/if you have time to style it etc. I would return to a hairdresser (not the same one obviously) ask for choppy layers put in to calm down the bump. And i would also ask that they thinned it out a bit. But as for the curls, that depends what product you use, try TIGI Curls Rock Leave in moisturiser, to tame the curls. Also make sure your shampoo and conditioner is geared for your hair type.

Use curling tong for special occasions, but not all the time, it will dry your hair out completely. Good luck

get a hair straightener and fix the bump. or curl your hair.

Poney tail for the next few months??

i think there is just a bump because its the way it drys... try drying with a blow dryer in a certain way

Poney tail for the next few months??

do not use a pony tail for the next few months, you will start to bald.... trust me... i have like this receeding hairline going. very bad idea. i say get a hair straightener.

Poney tail for the next few months??

lets see what u can do

-get your hair done again, but in a better nicer place obviously

-get a hair striahgner

-wear a hat

Poney tail for the next few months??

get a paul mitchel straightner and everyday or everyother day (depends when you wash your hair)

and get to work!!

Poney tail for the next few months??

I agree with the person who said get a straightner, when you dont have time to straighten, then wear a pony! you will survive! hair mess ups happen a LOT trust me!

Poney tail for the next few months??

Straighten it. But if you dont want to damage your hair by Straightening it, then after you take a shower, blow dry it.

Poney tail for the next few months??

you can put it in a nice bun,or just do what everyone else said curl it,or straighten it.

Poney tail for the next few months??

find a new hairdresser

Poney tail for the next few months??

try blow drying your hair with some product to make a little more body on top of you head!

it looks like she cut the last layers too short

you just gotta ride this one out!

Poney tail for the next few months??

you could put the top half up so it looks less thick.

if the layers are longer, you could do braided pigtails. or even one long braid in the back, if your hair is long enough. (the picture was kind of blurry; i couldn't really tell.)

good luck.

First, don't go back to that hairdresser. A good stylist will tell you up front what kind of day to day care you will have to do to keep the look you want. In the meantime, I personally don't think your hair looks bad. Keep messing with it over the weekend and see if you can learn to love it. Don't keep it pulled up in a ponytail, it causes breakage and that won't help it grow out. If your hair is really curly, why not try washing it and letting it air dry and see what happens. I'll bet it will be cute.

Poney tail for the next few months??

straighten it or blow dry your hair to stop it sticking out, or your could put your hair in curlers when its wet then blow dry, that will help get the flowing loose curls you wanted

Poney tail for the next few months??

The fastest, easiest hairstyle is a Buzz Cut. Try it! You'll love the freedom, and look so cute!

Poney tail for the next few months??

Go to a really good salon to get it corrected. It might just be that the layers aren't right all the way around. Either way, a good hairstylist should be able to fix it. Don't be discouraged :).

Poney tail for the next few months??

go get another hair cut that works with you

Poney tail for the next few months??

shower at night. when your hair is wet, put it in 4 or 5 messy buns around your head. basically scrunch your hair in a ball and put an elastic around it. then spray your still wet hair with a bit of hairspray, but not a lot! in the morning, you should have pretty waves. be sure to not tie the elastic too tight, or you'll get kinks. another option is to put your hair in 4 or 5 braids. they don't have to look nice, but the point is to give you waves. again, do it with your hair wet and spray a little bit of hairspray in them. in the morning, just take out the buns or braids and run your fingers through your hair. if you have really frizzy hair, you may want to spray your hair with a little bit of water in the morning, then respray some more hairspray.

Poney tail for the next few months??

Looks to me like the cut you wanted was layered and the cut you got was not. If I am correct, try going to another salon and see if another stylist can cut your hair in layers like the photo. You may need a lose perm as well. At least the stylist left you some hair to work with and didn't cut it all off! Good Luck.

Poney tail for the next few months??

Wow. That is quite a bit of difference. But luckly you don't have to wear it in a pony tail for months. You could straighten/curl/crimp to you liking each morning. Though if you don't have time for that there are still several choices. Youd don't have to just be stuck with one hairstyle. You could put it in a bun. (just a quick rap around the pony tail) . You could to a loose braide. You could do a fancy pony-tail the I personally just learned a few days ago. You take the top part of your hair (like a pointer-finger nail from the ear) and put a pony tail. Then divide the part of the hair that is not in the pony tail in half to you have two things of hair. Then use the pony-tail and the closest section of your new divided section and attach make it into another pony tail. ( so now you have two pony tail holders in. But one pony tail) Then, yep, use the leftover hair to do the same thing. So in the end you have 3 pony-tail holders and i pony tail. It sounds difficult but it is very easy. Don't worry about the hair! You'll be fine.

Poney tail for the next few months??

straighten it

Poney tail for the next few months??

i have frizzy and curly hair myself and i hate it.i always straighten it after washing my hair.

u should have straighten one day then put a hairband in it but not the other hairbands, the scarf hairband. maybe another day do the puff in ur hair. maybe put two low braids too.

u can also put a poney tail sometimes. you can do all these quick and easy hairstyles until ur hair grows longer.

HOPE I HELPED!!!

Poney tail for the next few months??

I would use a flat iron every couple of days to take the wave out and on days you do not flat iron it use a round brush when blow drying or curl it all over. It will grow back.
