Any hair stylists out there??

I had y hair highlighted twice in two days by a salon that messed up my hair. This was about four months ago. I cut the majotrity of the length off and the hair is in much better condition. However, the hair has a very harsh yellow/orange tone and i have my dark brown roots (3") showing? Should i try to have it color corrected by a salon now?? or would it be better if I wait? What do you suggest? and how would you go about fixing the problem? thanks :)

Oh wow. Ok, here's what you do. Get on google and search for color-depositing shampoo. It can be expensive, but you should get some until your hair grows out. DO NOT go to another salon. The color depositing shampoo should be blue or violet. The reason blonde highlights turn orange or bright yellow is because they have no blue tones anymore (weird, I know).

You should do that until things get better, and maybe go to a salon for a CONSULTATION about whether you should dye all your hair back to brown.

ok firts of all 3" of roots isnt ver attractive! go toa salon as soon as you can. as much as i hate spending alot of money on my own hiar i have to say go to a more expensive salon that really knows what there doing!!! its worth it to go to a professional! good luck i gope i helped!!

p.s.- use hair care products that help damaged hair from dying!

You can have the highlight roots touched up and the highlights toned with a semi permanent...possibly lifted slightly by a few minutes of bleach.

But yes, you can do that.

Start using Shimmer Lights shampoo (by Clairol Professional..get at Sallys) to keep the highlights light...it corrects yellowing.

since this was four months ago you should probably have it corrected by the salon or maybe go to a different salon this time. just remember to keep your hair very conditioned! =]
