Ok so my hair is short choppy and layered.

its a bit longer now then it is in those pictures.

But I am getting it cut very soon, like within the next few days, and i need to know what to tell the stylist to get my hair to look something like...sceneish? Oh, how I hate that word. BUT, I just need to know how to get a short LAYERED, hair cut with side bangs and that does NOT, i repeat NOT, look like a mullet.

hahahah hey i have SCENE HAIR my hair is like your in your first pic but shoter my hair was way longer and i got mine cut

ok try a layer in the bangs, or a few, i like how you have it, just a trim i think, some relayeering, maybe some shorter ones on top, leave the back pretty much the same, just a trim and same with the side, i like the sides, just get some more layers through the bangs and on top, you can add more poof with the layers on top, use a blowdryer and a little bit of fibre putty

Umm... Maybe you can get a sort of wavy style... Or somthin' like a bun. I'm fresh out of ideas! Srry!

uhh; just ask for choppy layers with a razor and point to where you want the shortest and longest to be.

Just get some shorter layers on the top,and it should make look like it. Good Luck!

have your layers chipped out ( cut in points instead of a straight line). Tell them and WATCH to make sure they let your length layer fall before the cut into your layers. They should, if they have talent cut your outline first, so no need to cut bottom (length) layer again when chipping new layers. Have them do the front so u can see how much they are cutting off. If it's too much make them stop, re explain yourself once. If it doesn't seem they are listening go somewhere else
