I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

Have you ever cut your hair and given it to cancer victims? Were you happy with what you were told? My 1st cut was done at home. Made pony-tail 2nd P-T above that, allowed for cut/DONE! saved long time/ just now realize prob 3 d0nations to hair

??? //// Angry 'cz next was told "o yes we do this! Life is so different/made pony tail @ nape. Held up and cut into middle of head!!! took week's ! Now have more hair /no colors-nat-curl-is why so pissed B4-Way longer then, "stylist" ruined WASTED avaliable hair, husband pissed!! Any good cutters? "Good Grower. They want a category: how about: family/health/relationships/grooming/bea... I cut it it affects all! Also /Think long cut-help for others vrs- Short Alli s lost. Cancer Cut!

Did you ever cut off your hair and give/donate it to cancer victims? I've done this 2x angry over last time bad cut

ever done it more than once?

I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

donated 10 inches to Locks of Love. I'm growing it out again so I can donate another 10 inches. the stylist separated my hair into a bunch of small ponytails before cutting. if you don't do many small ponytails the sides end up shorter. www.locksoflove.org

I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

i donated to Locks of Love once. just have your stylist put your hair in a pony tail and cut it from there, then send it. just go to your regular stylist to have them do it - most are familiar with this charity.

I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

yep i recommend lock of love, i did that and it made me feel so good

I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

your story is really confusing. but i did understand your question....

yes, i have cut my hair to give to cancer vicitim. i cut it 10 in. in november of 2004....i didnt go anywhere to get it cut...my hair cutting lady comes to my house...so she just cut it for me, then i sent it to locks of love. i kept my hair at the same length until around april 2005. now im growing it out again, to donate it. i only need about 3 more inches...so i hope to cut it before jan. 2007!

I'm asking a question! I'm not about points!!!!!Anybody here know about giving your hair?

Well i did not let them put it in a pony tail and cut it.. they pulled my hair up separated it and then cut it for how short i wanted my hair.. i got it very short and gave alot of hair and i was happy with the end result. it is stupid how they waste all that hair by cutting it by pony tail.. my local salon does it the way i told them 2 if the people want to have short hair after they donate.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

Every time (and I do mean EVERY time) I get my hair cut the stylist messes up in some way. I have long hair and I don't ask them to change the style, simply trim it. I get uneven layers, crooked bottom layer, etc. Even when I used to just ask them to cut it straight across and do nothing else I always had to go back...it's a STRAIGHT line, c'mon people!

Anywho, I got a haircut yesterday, was a bit choppy and uneven. I paid for the cut an tipped her but when I went back today to have it fixed I didn't tip. I just wondered if that would be considered rude. I mean, it's not my fault she messed up, right? Even the other stylists saw the mistakes.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

Here's a tip, Stop going to that salon. If they mess up everytime, I wouldn't go back. Find some place new where the stylist know what they're doing.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

Don't go back at all and don't give them a tip.Go to different places.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

no you shouldn't have tipped the first time, 閳?br>If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

I don't think you should tip again. I do think that you should go somewhere else to get your hair cut.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

find a dif salon!!!!!!

and dont tip.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

You don't need to tip for her mistake and if I were you I would never go back again. Find a stylist who can cut straight.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

no i wouldn't,i wouldn't have tipped the first time if i wasn't happy with the results

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

No, you aren't being rude to not tip when someone is undoing a wrong. You were generous to tip in the first place, when the stylist hacked your hair up the first time.

Please don't worry about it . . . Your karma is clear . . .

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

find some where else. if you don't want to then don't pay for the cut if she messes up. tell them to fix it or you'll not pay at all let alone giving a tip.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

my dad tipped when he got his fixed but he went to another place in the chain so i don't think you would have to unless you went to another place (if it's a chain) or a different stylist.

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

Its their job to ask plenty of questions when you get your haircut, and to ask BEFORE they start cutting. You have every right to ask to get a bad cut straitened out for no extra charge, and NO tipping for a second time I would say is absolutely acceptable. You should not tip, if you are going back to have a mistake corrected. You should also probably interview other stylists, or change the salon you go to. If they aren't asking you lots of questions, and talking to you to get a feel of what you want, then I wouldn't go there, or let them touch my hair (I also have long hair).

If I get a bad haircut and have to go back to have it fixed should I tip again?

ok i have supper short hair and when i got it cut and i didnt think they were doing it right i asked are you doing it right??and if your hair is uneven speak up and say something! all you did was get ripped off because remember they are not the ones that have to walk around with uneven hair!

I'm gettin frizzy hair! Help!!!!!?

I'm using anti-frizz conditioners, but they don't work at all, my hair is straight, but now it got frizzy, I use gel to get it down but it doesn't lasts as long as I want. It gets all frizzy on the top and on the sides by my ears and I hate it. What can I do to my my hair look un-frizzy, SUPER straight and almost flat, make it look thinner without cutting it, and I also wanna make it look shinier. I don't wanna buy a super expensive conditioner/shampoo, I want something that wont damage my hair, easy, not expensive and easy to find. Don't say iron it or go to a hair stylist or put dog poop on it...

I'm gettin frizzy hair! Help!!!!!?

Don't use chemicals on your hair. Try an organic, home made recipe instead. Here are some super easy things you can put in your hair, and the ingredients are right in your kitchen.

To prepare a realy quick hair conditoner try this:

1 egg + 1 tsp vinegar + Glycerin

OR

1 egg + Honey + 2 tsp olive oil.

Massage this mixture all over and leave for 15 - 20 mins and then wash off with shampoo.

Ingredients:

1/2 (120 ml) cup hair conditioner

1/4 (60 ml) cup honey

1 (15 ml) tablespoon almond oil

Directions:

Mix together the ingredients and blend well. Pour the mixture over your damp hair and work it in. Leave it on for about 20 minutes for a good, deep conditioning. Rinse it out.

Frizzines comes from damage to your hair so do a lot of deep conditioning. heres another homeade recipe.

Avocado Deep Conditioner

Ingredients:

1 small jar of mayonnaise

1/2 avocado

Directions :

Peel avocado and remove pit. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with your hands until it's a consistent green color. Smooth into hair being careful to work it to the ends. Use shower cap or plastic wrap to seal body heat in. Leave on hair for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning wrap a hot, damp towel around your head over the plastic, or use a hair dryer set to a low to medium heat setting.

Shiny Soft Hair Treatment

In a small bowl, mash and combine: 1 avocado (1/2 for shorter hair)

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Apply to hair and allow to remain 30 minutes or longer, then shampoo and condition as usual. Amazingly silky, shiny, soft hair! http://www.care2.com/greenliving/avocado...

Banana Bread Head

Have a couple of bananas that have ripened beyond their prime? Don't throw them away! Treat your hair to this vitamin-rich conditioning pack by blending a banana with a tablespoon or two of honey, plus a few drops of almond or vanilla extract for extra shine and a yummy fragrance that will remind you of mom's fresh-baked banana bread.

Ingredients:

* 1-2 ripe bananas

* 1-2 tablespoons honey

Directions:

Mix together banana, and honey in a blender. Wet hair with warm water and apply. For extra penetration, use plastic shower cap or wrap your hair with a towel. Wait about 20 minutes - perfect time to try the banana mask below - then rinse thoroughly, following with shampoo and conditioner as usual.

Mashed banana functions as a mucilage, much like aloe vera gel, protecting hair from environmental damage and smoothing frizzy flyaway hair. By bringing moisture to the surface of your scalp, this pack also serves as an excellent treatment for a dry, flaky scalp.

Caribbean Conditioner

Avocados are just one of the fruits grown in abundance on the West Indies islands near South America. Islanders enjoy them for their rich velvety texture and buttery taste, which compliments spicy West Indies cuisine. Avocados' monosaturated fat is good for the heart when consumed but the protective properties of this fruit's fat are also good for the hair when applied in an inexpensive, easy-to-prepare conditioning treatment.

Ingredients:

* 1 ripe avocado, mashed

* 2 tablespoons yogurt

* 1 small lime

Directions:

Grate 1-2 tablespoons of zest from the outer skin of the lime; reserve. Mash the pulp of one very ripe avocado together with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and add lime zest . Massage mixture thoroughly into your hair and scalp. It's best if your hair is already wet and warm from the shower to aid absorption of the conditioning oils. Wrap hair with a plastic shower cap or wet towel, let penetrate for 20 minutes. Shampoo and lightly condition.

What shampoos have you tried?

Have you tried Sunsilk anti-frizz? The one in the green bottle?

Just shampoo every other day and condition every day. Condition with super cold water, that will make your hair really shiny. If you can afford it, try washing your hair with bottled water. It is free of chlorine and has extra added minerals that will make your hair really strong and shiny.

When you get out of the shower, rub in a some Garnier Fructis anti-frizz serum. It smells really good, and it actually gets rid of frizz instead of hardening your hair to crisp.

Once a week, rub super hot olive oil or coconut oil or mustard oil into your hair. Make sure it's really hot. Avoid rubbing it into the roots, but really focus on massaging it into the ends of your hair. Leave it in for a couple of hours, then shampoo it out.

Another mask is of 1 egg and 1/2 cup of yogurt. Leave it in for 20 minutes then shampoo it out.

If you have mayo at your house, take about 1/3 a cup and rub it into your hair. It works because it is high in fat and protein, which is what your hair is made out of. Rinse out after 10 minutes. Rinse really well, you don't want your hair to smell like spoiled mayo!

Hair for a photo shoot! Any hairdressers out there??

This is a question for any hairdressers or stylists out there. I have a photo shoot in a week. I'm getting headshots done so i can pursue my dance career. I just got my hair cut last week and so now its a little longer than my shoulders. My hair is dark brown and very wavy (some would call it curly i guess.) It looks curly to me but online they define my hair as wavy. I want it to look great for my shoot...how should i do it? Also I have kind of a bigger forehead, at least i think i do, and i don't have bangs because my hair is so think and crazy and how does a person with such wavy hair manage bangs? Should i get bangs? What should i do with my hair please help!!!!!!!!!

Hair for a photo shoot! Any hairdressers out there??

How bout having it straingted and cut in layers. That would look really cool!

Hair for a photo shoot! Any hairdressers out there??

AS FAR AS THE FOREHEAD ISSUE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE BANGS. JUST WEAR YOUR HAIR IN A WAY THAT HIDES SOME OR MOST OF YOUR FOREHEAD, FOR EXAMPLE, PART IT ON THE SIDE AND SWEEP IT OVER THE FOREHEAD.

I WOULDN'T STYLE IT IN A WAY THAT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T EVER WEAR. WHOEVER SEES YOUR HEAD SHOTS NEEDS TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE HARD TO MANAGE HAIR.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE LAYERS NOW, I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING SOME LAYERS AND HAVING THE SIDES FRAME YOUR FACE. IT WILL DETRACT FROM YOUR FOREHEAD.

GOOD LUCK!

Blonde joke?

ok so a blonde goes into a hair salon to get her hair cut, but she has headphones on. the hair stylist says that she has to take off her head phones so she can cut her hair. the blonde says no i can't, i'll die. so the lady says ok. she starts cutting her hair on the right side of her hair, and tells her that she has to take off the headphones. the blonde says no i can't, i'll die. so the lady keeps on cutting on the back side of her hair. she tells her again, you have to take off your headphones. the blonde says, no i can't i'll die. the lady ignores her and starts cutting her hair on the left side and she says, you REALLY have to take off your headphones now. the blonde says, no i'll die, i'll just die. so the lady gets mad and pulls off her headphones and the blonde falls to the floor and starts choking and dies. the lady puts on the headphones and it was a cd playing "breathe in, breathe out, breathe in , breathe out"

Very cold joke, but thanks anyway.( Btw, are they really this stupid. Have a joke here,

A friend's mother had natural blonde hair, one day, my friend said." Blonde women ARE stupid."

The next day, his mother appeared with reddish brown hair.

This time her son said." Don;t think you can fool me with your fake intelligence."

Blonde joke?

that joke was wack

Blonde joke?

Wow! you really got me there! I kinda think it is the heart (blonde's head) and the aorta and vena cava represent the headphones, so that when they are removed the heart receives (breath in) no blood to pump out (breath out) and eventually leads to death. My explanation may suck though.

Blonde joke?

tht was a really good joke!

Blonde joke?
