To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

iv got long thick brown hair. naturally wavey but i straighten it and no1 can tell its not hehe.

would like a fringe, not a thin fringe but a thicker 'side' one perhaps. tried them in the past but can never get it to sit right. think i hav a cowslick? so its ends up lookin like half a rainbow rather than sweeping across :@ if i straighten it then it will jus be too straight n stick out at a funny angle. lol. not guna get one cut unless i know how to make it look good!

any tips on styling a fringe so it looks natural and sits right?

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

You have to train your fringe to sit where you want it, not just cut it and hope for the best.

experiment with kirby grips and clips and leave it that same style for a few days.

this includes when you are drying and styling it.

pretty soon your hair will learn to sit there and then you can cut it.

EDIT: I didn't mean cut it by yourself i mean then you can get it cut...as in by a hairdresser. and you should NEVERRR EVERR cut the fringe off, you will look stupid and will have spiky bits the top which take ages to grow back

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

my daughter is a hair stylist i will ask her and email u i have thick hair as well she cuts the fringe into the hair so its not so defined as a fringe and cuts the hair gradually down in line line with the hair i think is called graduation not sure

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

Sucks doesn't it? I use too have that problem but my hairstyle grew out and now my bangs look too heavy. When you get your bangs cut Have the part be farther back on your head so there's more hair combing too the front so it's heavier, it will be harder for it too stick up. Explain how you feel too your hair dresser about the problems your having with it.

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

the first ones right but wrong

NEVER cut your hair by your self

ask your dad or mom to fix it by cutting the fringe off

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

Try using a styling wax and mold it to the side with your fingers using a raking motion. Don't use too much as this can weigh down your hair. Also the longer the side bang, the more it's going to weigh down and the less it's going to stay in place. Try an eyebrow skimming bang that comes from the apex (top of head) instead of just the front hairline for a fuller bang. Ask the stylist to do an undercut which influences the way your hair lays.

You can also blow dry bangs up and out towards the side with a round vented brush to influence the movment of your bangs. Set with hairspray.

To any hair stylists out there! how do i make my fringe 'work'?

I have tht problems too. but when i comb it regularly the hair will stay where it should. ;) thin fringe also will help i guess..

Are these choppy layers?

http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w124/...

if not then what is that hair cut called, like it looks like layers on top and then thinner as you go down.. whats that hair cut called? and whats the best way to describe it to a hair stylist?

Are these choppy layers?

looks like choppy long shaped layers. Her hair is shaped around her head. Ask for shorter layers on top to give it that shape formation around the head, but make sure you say you want it long.

Are these choppy layers?

yes!!!!

Are these choppy layers?

How about ugly?

Are these choppy layers?

print the picturre out and show it to him/her.

and go to a gay hair dresser.

they do the best.

and there super nice :D

Are these choppy layers?

I'd suggest just taking the picture into the stylist then they can actually see what you want and you are more likely going to get what you ask for.

Are these choppy layers?

i'd say that you should bring in that picture with you to your stylist, and try to find some from different angles too, and show her what you want.

Are these choppy layers?

Just print the pic and show it to the hair dresser.

Are these choppy layers?

so cute nice hair ideas :D

Are these choppy layers?

I'm not sure what that is ,but my daughter just got her hair cut like that. I don't understand why anyone would want their hair thin.

Decent hair salons with updated fashions senses?

Hello guys. :D I live in South Orlando Florida, and I'd just like suggestions on where to go to get my hair decently cut "scene." I know what to ask from the stylist now thanks to a great answerer on my other question. Now, I'd just like to know WHAT would be a decent place to go to - meaning they have a brain, and are a bit up to date with the current fashions. Examples: Great Clips, Hair Cuttery, JC Penney Salon, Regis, whatever you can think of. I'd like some opinions.

%26amp; Also, please don't give me the generic answer of "LOL BRING IN A PICTURE" or "LOL SCENE HAIR SUX DONT GET IT LOL" ...

Thank you.

Decent hair salons with updated fashions senses?

I live in South Fl and I would recomend the famous Orbie salon in Miami. I love it

Decent hair salons with updated fashions senses?

I don't live where you live, so I don't know. at your school, or at work, whatwver seems to be the most popular place. Maybe go ask your friends?

Last days of school haircut???

the link doesnt work... as far as getting a hair cut that actaully looks good on you, go to a stylist. they cut your hair so that it looks good on YOUR face.

you didnt mention wat face type you have. oval, round, square, or heart? when you figure that out, then you can choose the right cut.

You would look awesome with layers. Go for it!

Hot new haircut???

Go for a short and choppy look ask them to use a razor. Trust me it works!

Hot new haircut???

This is a very popular and easy to do cut. You will look great in it. Just be sure to keep up on getting your highlights redone, and have them foiled in instead of going through the cap. It is much more natural looking and grows out nicer.

You really should take the picture with you. People have different "pictures" in their minds of someone elses examples or descriptions. If you take the picture, your stylist will know EXACTLY what you want.

I wish you the best of luck with your new do! Nana

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

I'm gonna be getting my hair highlighted soon. This entire question thing is rather long, and composed of more than one question, but they're all simple to answer, I assume.

Alright, here are the questions

1. I was thinking about getting blonde highlights in my hair. I have naturally darkish brown hair, so they wouldn't be too bright. I'm getting it done at a hair stylist so they don't look like crap. My only question is, would the blonde highlights look too fake? And if you think they would, what other color should I get my hair highlighted?

2.Before I get my hair highlighted, I'm getting it cut. I'm just getting my bangs back. Normal bangs (not side swept or uneven), a little bit past my eyebrows. I was wondering, when I get my hair highlighted, should I highlight the bangs as well?

3. How badly will the highlights damage my already thin hair?

4. Can I get my hair cut and highlighted on the same day?

Thanks very much for any answers

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

1. No, blonde highlights will not look good on dark brown hair. You should instead ask for caramel highlights, which will look natural on your hair. Later on, you can go back for blonder highlights, which will then blend in with the caramel, which blends with the dark, got me?

2. How weird would your hair look if you got highlights all over and didn't get the bangs done?

3. All highlights will damage your hair to some extent. A good stylist/colorist will not destroy your hair.

4. Yes.

And I wanted to add a 5. in there just to give you some more reassurance. Someone who is experienced with highlights will know exactly what to do to make your hair look great if you tell them what you're looking for. First describe the haircut, and then say, "I really want to get highlights, but I don't know what would look good for me." They should take it from there. Also, don't do one or the other (cut or highlight) without explaining everything first. If the stylist isn't willing to listen, then you need to run, don't walk, away!

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

1, blonde is the best yo can get these days, red is tacky on brown, but black is goth, so blond is best

2don't hihglight the bangs, that would be kind of geeky, unless you have alot of bangs

3 highlights don't damage hair uless they are those acidy stuff

4 u can, never tried it, but u can, i usally get a cut, wait for it to grow into a more natrual hairstyle, then put the higlights in cause it looks weird to have highlights and a awakward cut.

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

1. The stylist will probably tell you, if natural is something you're going for, and you have naturally dark brown hair, blonde wouldn't look natural. Maybe dirty blonde if not light brown. Think about getting lowlights too, they're like highlights but a shade darker than your natural color. It would give your hair more depth.

2. If looking natural is what you're going for, then yes, get your bangs highlighted as well. In fact, getting them highlighted period is a good idea, because getting highlights around your face help frame it.

3. It won't be too bad, just don't make a habit out of constantly changing the color or bleaching it.

4. Yes, you can get it done on the same day, just make sure you have enough time. Maybe two hours.

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

1. yes the highlights would make your hair look fake, you should try a light shade of brown.

2. Yes or it won't look as natural.

3. It will just make it dry or thinner or possibly fall out thats why there a bad idea.

4. Yes but it will cost about $150.00

Glad to help

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

Try a lighter shade than your hair but not too bright of a blonde shade- then you can figure out if you want to lighter at a later time. Your hair stylist will be able to help you pick out the right shade to try out.

Yes, you'd get your hair colored/highlighted first, then cut.

Remember, the fun thing about hair is you can try something out, and if you don't like it, you can always change it in a relatively short amount of time.

Highlight answers from someone with experience?

I just recently got my hair highlighted and cut. For your first question, If your hair is dark, i wouldn't go to light with the blonde or it will look like a skunk. I had dark hair to when I highlighted mine and I did some blonde highlights and a few darkesh red ones. It looks really good together. It looks more natural than just doing the all out blonde. For the second question, definetly do your bangs to, it won't look bad. Highlights dont damage your hair as much as completely dyeing it so your fine, dont worry about it damaging your hair. And for your last question, its better to get it cut and highlighted on the same day cause by cutting it, you get rid of all the dead hair and split ends so it wont damage your hair since its already cleaned up. Hope this helps you and good luck with your hair.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

I have curly hair, and it is very hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair right. I found a salon that has a few people that are good at cutting curly hair, and I've gone to one stylist a few times who does an alright job. However, the last time that he cut it I didn't like it at all. There is another person at the salon who is very hard to get into because he is supposedly the best "curly hair cutter" in the area.

I want to go to him, but I would feel bad for my previous stylist, because he would see me going to a different stylist since they work at the same salon.

What should I do? Will the stylist feel bad? Or will they understand. I don't want to hurt his feelings...

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

well, if you want to not risk that over a mediocre hair cut, its your choice. honestly, you may feel bad, but thats how things are in the business world, and i dont think he would mind too much...if he says anything, just say that its nothing personal, and you really like him, but you want to try something new

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

the other stylist wont mind... they understand that you need to be happy with your cut so go to the other guy...

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

Just make an appointment with the person you would like to try. You can't worry about hurting the other stylist feelings. They will be okay.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

its your hair honey. the hair styling business is a service industry thus servicing you. Be polite if your old stylist says anything but the bottom line is, its your hair. I say go for the other stylist and check it out. Theres nothing worse than paying good money and end up paying to look weird!

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

I doubt he'll even remember you, i'm sure he cuts too many heads to remember your hair anyway.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

not at all

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

No, it's not bad. It's your money so use the person that's going to give you the best style! I'm never committed to any stylist.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

I've done that before. i've gone through three girls in the same salon. I'm not concerned with offending them; I want to look good and get what I pay for. Most stylists will understand.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

theyll understand, its just part of the job

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

they other stylist won't feel bad... it's business, i really dont think he cares that much lol. and plus, it's your hair, you choose who you want to cut it. i have very curly hair too, and i know how hard it is to find a curly stylist to cut it like u want it... so i wouldnt worry about it, go w/ the other stylist.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

well you have to get what's best for you especially if your paying for it and if you really want to know how would the other stylist feel just ask if he would mind. but do what you think is good for you.

Is this bad: same salon, different stylist?

I think because your hair is an important part of your image it is a good idea to go to the one who knows best how to cut curly hair. Maybe this great stylist would be nice enough to let your other stylist watch and learn. Then you could always go back. God Bless!

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

I haven't cut my hair in....a couple of years, 1. because when I was straightening it, it just didn't grow 2. not time and no money

so, that means that not all my hair is the same length, but that doesn't stop the ends from being split.

so here's the actual dilema. I already KNOW that getting a hair cut would get rid of my split ends....but only the ends of the longest strands, what about the bunches of them that are like half the length, they're still spilt....what do I do about them.....

oh, one thing, my hair is like...insanely curly and I don't really know if my hair stylist really knows how to deal with that...so....i just don't know what to do

DO NOT JUST SIMPLY SAY GET A HAIR CUT, THERE IS A COMPLEXITY TO THIS QUESTION

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

go for a cut on the length to git red of split ends, and longer layers to get rid of the rest of them. if your stylist does not know how to work with curly hair, find someone who does. ask around

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

there's a sunsilk shampoo pink or red whatever color and its gret for split ends or dry hair and it costs less too

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

go to a PROFESSIONAL that know exactly what she is doing with curly hair. Try a curling gel by garnier fructis, that does the trick usually. But 100% go to a professional salon, and get their opinion!

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

I am sorry honey, but the only cure for split ends is a hair cut! I think your stylist can handle it!

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

i have the same problem im getting a hair cut this weeken

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

try and new hair stylist that can deal with curls there is a product that u can buy from hair dressers and i cant remember what its called but i know its in a small white bottle and its a cream that u put in the ends of ur hair for split ends my mother has the same problem curly wild hair she used it and helped her heaps dont cost much either about 15 dollars

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

Uh, just for you to know, straightning your hair ruins your hair. It keeps your hair from growing everyday. Use Herbal Esenses the pink color... the new kind for turning your hair straight... and when you use it for 3 days it will be practically straight. Don't forget to buy shampoo and conditioner.

Split ends......freakign everywhere?

I have a similar problem. There are split ends up the shaft not just on the bottom in the layers. I try to have my hair all one length, but it is hard to do that because hair breaks. One thing I do is get an intense conditioner like aussie 3 min miracle or other deep conditioner and start putting it on at the ends and work my way partway up the hair. I avoid the scalp because I can get oily hair. I also leave the conditioner in for a while so it really gets into the hair. When I brush my hair I start at the bottom and gently get the tangles out and then move my way up the hair to the top of my head. I do not force through a tangle. I use a wide tooth comb to comb my hair after washing it. It is called a conditioner comb.

Professional hair stylists ...?

Should a professional hairstylest be able to strip dark brown dyed hair to the regrowth color (blondish/verylight brown) if time and money is not a concern for the client ?

I origanallly wanted to get those neat highlights over the top layer of my hair the way the kids are doing it these days, but NOT so perfectly placed or chunky, but my regrowth is coming in and I don't really want to dye it dark any more and I figured a professional would be able to blend the three somehow (the regrowth, old dark hair, and new light highlights) To make a slow progression that eventually will work its way lighter and lighter "over years" to something more resembleing my natural color. This one hair dresser said it may look strange, and I said well then I should I strip my hair to my regrowth and then maybe do highlights, she said it would never be the same color as the regrowth and said I should just cut it, So is she just not confident in her own skills and I should keep looking or what?

Professional hair stylists ...?

There should be someone who can do that for you. You definitely don't have to cut it, but you definitely have to color it and highlight again. Just seek a different salon that doesn't say they have to cut it.

Professional hair stylists ...?

it will go back 3 level only, otherwise you will need bleach and color closest to your natural color and highlights you should be able to get what ever you want

What do u call this haircut?

http://www.hairstylesdesign.com/gallery/...

whats it called?. not the bangs but the longer part. its sharp and wispy. i want my hair cut like that but i dont know how to tell the hair stylist. is there a name for it. i have thick hair and i want my hair to appear thin, straight and sharp at the ends.

i also like reese witherspoons hair

http://www.thehairstyler.com/images/cele...

What do u call this haircut?

It's a layered shag, then a flat iron was used to make it straight. It's a fairly simple cut, and usually a straight edged razor is used to get the whispy effect. It's a really cute cut as well, when you curl it or use hot rollers!

Hope this helps!!

Tean

What do u call this haircut?

layers and straight across bangs, with one front step

What do u call this haircut?

well than why don't you just tell her that shes the hair dresser.

What do u call this haircut?

Hm... Sorry, I don't know what it's called, but maybe you can print or draw the picture out. My mom's a barber... WAIT!!

I think that would just be layering + something else, cuz my hair was thick too I think, and my mom cut the part of my hair where you can't see the layering I guess. Like she didn't layer the outside, but the inside, you know what I mean? ^^

Question for hair stylists...?

I got my hair permed today and it's absolutely awful. The last 6 inches of my hair are perfectly straight and some of the ends are really coarse. My hair is to the middle of my back and I really didn't want to have to get it cut because of the perm!

Before the hairdresser started, he said that taking prenatal vitamins might make some of the hair not "take" the perm. I've never heard this before and couldn't find anything online, except that he might have had the chemicals on too long. Our youngest daughter is 4 months old and I take the vitamins because she is still nursing, but I really don't think that is the cause, especially since the top part of the hair looks so pretty.

I just don't understand... the top of the hair is beautiful spiral curls and the ends are straight. I even wet it and scrunched it to see if that would help... nope. This was not a strip-mall $50 perm that I got!!!!!

Any insight would be ever-so-much appreciated!!!!!!!

Question for hair stylists...?

I have been doing hair for fifteen years and I have never heard of prenatal vitamins causing a perm not to take. From the description that you are giving it sounds to me like your stylist didn't saturate the hair all the way to the ends which is sometimes a problem when a client has alot of hair. The hairstylist should either give you a full refund or give you another perm at no charge. The stylist can even perm just the ends of the hair if they aren't comfortable redoing the entire head. But this is definately the stylist fault and if the stylist is unwilling to do one of the above things for you then I recommend that you change stylists.

Hope this helped

Question for hair stylists...?

Any medication/vitamins you take can make your perms not take as well. I would guess the reason your ends didn't take as well, is the longest part of your hair has the most damage/chemicals/medicine in it. If you didn't sign some type of waiver then I would ask for your money back. I am hesitant to tell you to get the ends re permed, b/c of the damage it could cause. I would go to a well respected salon/stylist and see what they recommend. If the place you went is a respected salon, then I would go back to the stylist you saw and demand he/she fix it.

Question for hair stylists...?

Take my advice only think you have to do is condition your hair and keep on greasing you scalp soon all or later your hair will be so long it will be past your butt. Trust me take my advice. You should grease it twice a day.

How much should i tip my stylist for color and a few highlights,no cut?

all over color sometimes. touch up roots other times.few highlights around face . no haircut. medium length hair.

How much should i tip my stylist for color and a few highlights,no cut?

At least 15% - 20% of the total cost. Hairdressers pay to rent space in the shops they work in and have to give anywhere from 40% - 75% of what they charge their customers to the shop owner as a rental fee. They depend on their tips, just like a waitress does. Same tipping rules apply.

How much should i tip my stylist for color and a few highlights,no cut?

About 10 dollars.

How much should i tip my stylist for color and a few highlights,no cut?

It depends on how good the stylist does it...and if it looks like how you wanted it or asked to have it done...

So if she does it exactly like you wanted I would say maybe 5-10$ tip..

If its kinda sloppy but still looks okay...3-5$

and if it looks nothing like you wanted...I wouldnt tip at all..

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

I have been going to the same hairdresser/stylist for the past 5 years. She is around the same age as me - 24. The past few times I have gone I feel like she is not "there" for me. She would not say much nor would she cut/style my hair the way that I requested. I just went to her again this past wednesday and asked her to cover up my blonde highlights with brown (my natural hair color) After she dyed my hair she told me that it "was semi-permant and I would have to come back" I feel that she did not do what I asked. Also I requested my hair be cut short in the back and long in the front (the "posh" look) She did not do this - infact she cut in one length and I looked like I was 12 yrs old. I went to another stylist last night and she did a GREAT job. She listened to what I wanted and my hair looks great!! I made an appt. with this new stylist but I know my previous will call me soon asking why I have not made an appt. How do I tell her that I do not want to go to her?

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

Just tell her the truth. Tell her that she isn't listening to the requests you made lately so you won't be back.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

just explain the whole situation. tell her that the you a ppreciate the last 5 years, but it's time for you to go to a new stylist. good luck.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

If that's how she's treating you then you don't even need to say anything. Leave. She probably knows what she's doing and woudn't be tpp suprised if you left. It's not like this is breaking up with your booyfriend.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

A few ideas:

Tell her the truth.

Tell her you're moving house, and her salon is too far to drive.

Tell her you're moving abroad.

Tell her you were fired and can't affoard salon hairstyles.

Tell her that you believe you're powers are in your hair, and you no longer want it cut. This one many no work.

Tell her you're growing it for an acting role.

Tell her you'll be away on the date of your next appointment, to buy yourself some time.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

If you specifically ask for a style or color and the person you have hired to do that for you chooses not to - don't be afraid to let them know that their services are no longer required. Good hairstylists cost good $$. If they are not performing the service you request why continue to put out money for the wrong style, color, or look.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

Just never go back. There, now wasn't that easy?

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

It's entirely up to you whether you want to tell her at all. You could just start going to the other stylist, and not worry about it.

Or if you really feel the need to let your old stylist know, just be straight and to the point. She needs to know what she is doing wrong, so maybe this won't happen with her other customers. Tell her that you feel like she isn't listening to you and doing your hair the way you ask for it to be done. You are the one paying her...it is her responsibility to make sure she understands exactly what you want, and do it to the best of her ability. If she doesn't think she's quite sure what you want, then she needs to ask you and make sure you are both at a good understanding of how you want your hair done.

It's your money, so I can totally understand going somewhere else, to someone you feel is better meeting your needs.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

Alot of times this happens in the industry. Sometimes stylists listen to what you're requesting but don't feel that what your asking would be best for you (in their minds) so they do what they think would be best. Agreed that it is the stylists job to do what YOU ask them do seeing as how it is your hair and money....but I've personally noticed that alot of the time (not saying it happened with you) the client doesn't communicate what they want properly. Did you show her a picture? Regardless of anything, it is your prerogative to switch to a different stylist. If the stylists work at the same salon, to ease some of the potential friction, I would schedule my appointments on her days off.

How to tell a stylist that your not going to her anymore?

Just never go back there . and never pick up the phone when she calls. Or tell her you will be out of town for a while. simple as that.

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

Because my mother worked at a hair salon for along time,(used to with my dad) she told me I should get the ends of my hair cut. I said ok, because I am not allowed to go to the hair stylist(my mom's fear of somebody messing my hair up). I told her to please cut half an inch, maximum 1 inch from my hair. She said...ok, lets do it. All of a sudden, my head feels lighter. Having fears, I asked my mom, if she cut alot off. She said no. I almost fell over in shock when she was finished. She cut off 10 inches! And then she said....THAT MORE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CUT OFF!!!!!! And then i was mad at my mom...... and then my mom got mad at me, for being mad at her, because she's my mom, and i should not be mad at her! I know everyone makes mistakes....but she did this before!(my hair grows very slowely...so it takes a while to grow back)

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

Sounds like your mom set this up. Best advice is to stop going to the salon with your mom...not that you're likely to need one for a while. Sounds like there's plenty of time for your hair to grow back before you need to go back to another stylist. So you'll have time to find someone who you trust and who will respect you.

In the meantime, simply apologize to your mom for getting upset, but let her know that she's lost your trust and you would like your dad or someone you can trust to take you next time.

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

Tell her she lost a customer and you'll be going to someone else to get your hair cut from now on.

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

If someone is always bugging you to cut your hair, never let them cut it. The same thing happened to me when I had the coolest head of headbanging rocker hair. This friend of mine offered to cut it short. I said no but asked if she could just fix the ends a little. She practically gave me a crew cut.

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

i don't blame you for being mad, but you said she did this before?

why did you go back? and if she's not allowing you to go anywhere else to have your hair did, how old are you? i think after the first time, i woulda been done. youre crazy for going back. but if thats the only problem with mom, make amends and don't give her the scissors anymore. it could be worse?!!!

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

Your mom obviously isn't comfortable with the idea of you making your own styling choices. Don't EVER let her touch your hair again....And go to a stylist despite what your mom says.

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

"...BAD MOMMY!!!!!!! " Remember this saying for future reference: "Fool me once..shame on you! Fool me twice...shame on ME!!!! " Next time save up your own money and go to a salon or beauty school for a trim...Your mom obviously like you in short hair, but it IS your hair, and you should be allowed to let it grow out as long as you keep it clean, well groomed and healthy!!!

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

poor u! i hate it when that happens! everyone always seems to think that whateva length u want cut off they have to double it or more wots with that????

try to console urself that at least now uve got a whole new look and dont worry u probably look hot :)

cya!

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

I think I know why she cut 10 inches off.Because maybe the hair stylist thought you meant 1 inch from the scalp,so she cut most of it off.Next time,(if there is a next time)you should say 1 inch off the TIP.

Thanks I hope this helped you!

Scince when is 1 inch, 10 inches?

That's why you shouldn't let family cut your hair.
